    Hello all ! My family and I are new to homesteading, but things are going well so far! :) We are down to four chickens right now, so we are trying to build our surplus up. We have a wonderful dog, whom we rescued from going to the humain society. We also have a loving cat. We are getting ready to get Nubian goats! We are all so excited! Today, we went to put a deposit on our "kids". :D We can't wait to get them! I am looking forward to making soap,butter, and cheeses from the goats milk! Also learning how to can and make bread as well ! :)
