The website was acquired recently and was started in 2009 by the original owner in order to promote the raising of chickens in urban backyards. I think that this is a fantastic idea and encourages people to care for animals. I think it's particularly important to educate people about where our food comes from and as part of the website I will be reguarly submitting chicken recipes and ways of cooking lovely, fresh eggs.
