Baked Custard

Ingredients:


3 eggs
1/4 c. sugar
2 c. milk, scalded
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
dash nutmeg

Cooking Instructions


Mix all but nutmeg together in a mixing bowl. Pour into a 1 quart baking dish. Sprinkle lightly with nutmeg. Set dish in a shallow pan of hot water and bake for 1 hour at 325°. When done, a butter knife inserted should come out clean.
