Beer Cheese Bread

Ingredients:


1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
1/2 c. wheat flour
2 tbsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. dried minced onion
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. cheddar cheese
1 c. beer
2 eggs
1/3 c. oil (or melted butter)

Cooking Instructions


Preheat oven to 350°. Grease 9 x 5 loaf pan. Mix all dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add beer, cheese, eggs and oil. Beat w/ electric mixer about 1 minute, scraping bowl occasionally (don't over mix.) Pour into prepared pan. Bake 50-60 minutes until tooth pick inserted comes out clean. Cool about 5-10 minutes before removing from pan.
