can someone tell me what is growing on my wellsummer hen

has anyone ever seen these growths on a chicken?  is it a fungus, warts, just a crazy growth.  is it contagious?  Can someone please help me?

It looks like a SEVERE case of dry pox. Have you posted in the Emergencies, Diseases, Injuries and cures section?

I had 2 chickens get this, both reds. $5 hen, $300 Vet. any questions? Cull and replace, move on.
