Four long years ago I cleared the brush, dug some stumps and began laying out footings for a floating slab.
To cut down on materials I Utilized some very old cement blocks that were laying around in my woods for part of the footings. The slab and footings are laid on top of 6 inches of class 5 gravel from the old railway bed that is on one side of my property.
After this work came to a halt for a year. Work begins in earnest the year after on the next page.
