The chicks' first time outdoors at about 1 week old.

My kids love the chicks. Here the chicks are about 7-8 weeks old.

The earlier ones I put towels on a folding chair--over the back and the seat to make a back drop. they were scared of the camera flash so I shined a light from each side to give enough light. The 3 week photos I set up the top to a cardboard box as the backdrop next to the window so i could get natural light. I had 25 chicks so it was a bit of a chore to take one by one photos each week but it was my first time with chicks so I wanted to document it all.
