Additional Information(8) Keeping of farm or game animals. It shall be unlawful for any person to keep or maintain livestock, including, but not limited to, fowl, goats, pigs, cattle, horses, or any other farm or game animal in the city. Stock yards, slaughter yards and meat packing or processing plants approved as conditional uses in M-2 or M-3 zoning districts are exempted from this section. (5) Agricultural operations as defined in O.C.G.A. § 1-3-3, \"definitions\", to include raising, harvesting or storing of products of the field or orchard; feeding, breeding or managing livestock or poultry; producing or storing feed for use in the production of livestock, including but not limited to cattle, calves, swine, hogs, goats, sheep, and rabbits or for use in the production of poultry, including but not limited to chickens, hens and turkeys; producing plants, trees, fowl, or animals; the production of aqua culture, horticultural, dairy, livestock, poultry, eggs and apiarian products; farm buildings and farm ponds; Agricultural activities. The raising, harvesting, or storing of crops; feeding, breeding, or managing livestock or poultry; producing or storing feed for use in the production of livestock, including, but not limited to, cattle, calves, swine, hogs, goats, sheep, ratites, and rabbits, or for use in the production of poultry, including, but not limited to, chickens, hens, and turkeys; producing plants, trees, fowl, or animals; or the production of agricultural, horticultural, dairy, livestock, poultry, eggs, and apiarian products.
