My backyard chicken flock begins!!! 

A couple of weeks later...

Then the real fun began...the building of the chicken coop. But smart folks know to buy the book, so we went and got the book "Building Chicken Coops for Dummies"

Our Christmas Surprise...

Our ladies chose Christmas to lay their first eggs

But by January 1 the ladies were in full swing...

By January 6 they had doubled that...making it quadruple what they had put out initially.

They were also almost double the size as well.
