Duplex Backyard Coop

'Duplex Backyard Coop'

This coop was designed for two breeding pens of bantams.

We have placed our Black/Blue/Splash Orpington Bantams in this Duplex coop.

We are calling this a Duplex Backyard Coop; however, currently its placed in our front yard so folks can see the coop. We have a  for sale sign on it and have had several folks stop and look at our coops.

wish you lived closer Jim I could use a half dozen of these in LF size
My wife would love to take a paid vacation to New England this summer! :)
LOL I wish I could have you folks up here! I make a mean pot of Boston Baked Beans... but you would have to sleep on the floor in my sons room just like all of the relatives that visit LOL
Are those 5 gal buckets you used for the nesting boxes? Just trying to get a feel for the dimensions. How many chickens will this hold?
Those are two gallon buckets, for bantams. If we remove the buckets, it makes one nest for large fowl. The exterior coop deminsions are 5'W x 8'L x 5'H. The nest/roost box is about 5'W x 2'D x 2.5'H. That makes each side 30"W x 24"D x 30"H.
