My current flock of pullets are from two batches-first on March 13th and second on April 1st 2010- and consists of 6 Barred Rocks, 6 Buff Orpingtons, 6 Anconas (one's a rooster) 3 Leghorns, 3 Easter Eggers, 2 Black Sex Links and 1 Blue Andalusian. Our last flock sad to say was eaten by a mountain lion.  There were 8 of them.  This time around we've built what my husband calls "Fort Knox".  The fence is 9 feet high and the girls are locked in tight each night into their beautiful new coop!
