This year we added enough new birds that I decided to split up the pages. Most of the chickens on this page are bantams, except the White EE, Speckled Sussex & Lakenvelder.
I read on here that a cool thing do with your chickens is bring a camera in the coop and take pictures. I enjoy doing that, except I come back with 200 new pictures every time.

I makes me happy though.

Our Sebrights and Sumatras. We have very bed luck with Sebrights. Last year we got 3 - 1 was a girl. This year we got 5 - 1 was a girl. Maybe if we got 1 - 1 will be a girl?

Old English Game & Cornishes.

The first chick we ever hatched. You can see him behind our Broody, Acorn.

Subku - Cornish

Padfoot & Rey.

Mr. Comb is the little roo. He always had a large comb

The d'Anvers: Wander (the blueish chick), Kara, Alex & Bracken. The White EE Dewy (Dewdrop) & Speckled Sussex Suzi.

The silkies & Japaneses.

The guineas, Amy (Lakenvelder) & a couple of chicks we no longer have.

The black cockerels are the first chicks we hatched. Unfortunately they are all guys.

Cormac - Bantam Cornish

One of my favorite pictures I've taken. I think this is Padfoot.

Ingrid - Sebright

Trixie & Bubbles - Silkies. The jury is still out on whether or not they boys or girls or one of each.

Goldie & Slyvester - Sebrights. I helped a freind pick these 2 out, but they ended up as roos, so we got them. They were trying to convince me that they laid that egg in this pic.

Bubbles

Whisper - White Faced Black Spainish. His face still hasn't come in all the way, but it's looking far better than his dad's at the same age.

Amy - Lakenvelder. We got her alongside our guineas, so she is kind of confused as to what she is.

Angzotic - Old English Game. He is a very silly bird. He was higher on the pecking order, because of his age, but after he came home from the fair, he ended up on the bottom of the pecking order because of his size. He loves having his picture taken.

Wander - d'Anver.

Whisper again.

Raoo (ra-oo) - Guinea. He is the runt of our guineas. When we first but them outside, he almost died in the morning. The others were fine, but we had to put him back into the brooder. He is now very rambunctious.

Midas - Sebright. He may have had a beautiful rose comb, but with his non-hen feathering and long back he was never going to go to the fair. Then he used his wings to go for my face. He became the first, and currently only, chicken from our own flock to become dinner.

Betty - Japanese. One of the other chickens pulled some skin off her neck, so we put her in her own special cage to heal, which she did. I can't even see where she was injured anymore.

Ingrid the Sebright checking Betty out.

Subuku (Cornish), Whisper & Mr. Comb (Spainish), & Marvel (Dutch)

Cormac again. This time older.

The d'Anvers, & Dewy trying to dust bath together. The funny thing is that they have plenty of space to spred out, but for some reason don't.

Raoo in the food.

This is either Prongs or Moony. They have very weird combs.

Kasaiuki - Cornish

Goldie - Sebright.

Dewy (Dewdrop) - EE. We were at the feed store, buying chicken food, and we looked at the chicks they had in. We weren't planing on getting any, but we saw a white chick with fluffy cheeks in the bin labeled as Ameraucanas & Black Sex-links. We knew they were EEs, and thought it'd be cool to have a white one. One of the store helpers put her in a box and labeled her as a Black Sex-link. We tried to explain that she was an "Ameraucana" not a sex-link, but the person told us that the "Ameraucanas" were only the squirrely ones. So we ended paying for a sex-link instead of an "Ameraucana" but it's thier loss, because sex-links were cheaper, and we got a wonderful EE out of it.

Padfoot - Spainish/Brahma cross

Trixie & Bubbles again.

Alex - d'Anver. She takes some funny Pics.

Kara - Alex's sister. They are named after Supergirl & her sister from the new TV show, and are very sweet little girls.

Mr. Comb & Whisper. They ended up in a cage after beating up a larger, older, and much sweeter roo.

Wander -d'Anver. He is super cute.

Rey - Old English Game.

Angzotic again.

Suzi - Speckled Sussex. I love her colors.

Marvel - Dutch. We got her as a Old English Game, but with her blue legs, and white earlobes, she is more of a Dutch with a lot of defects. That's what you get from hatchery birds. The 2nd pic is of her when she was younger.

Cormac again.

Bracken - d'Anver.

Halo & Shadowthorne - Guineas.

Padfoot

Gandalf - Grey Japanese. For some reason people often get him and our Silver OEG, Angzotic, mixed up all the time.

Betty

Ingrid

Starbright, Goldie & Sylvester.

Our new lavender guineas. We won them from a raffle at our fair. We were hoping for a male & female, but they are both girls. They are supposedly the same age as our other guineas, but are smaller than our runt.

Subku our through a stroll through our garden.

Sakerra - Japanese.
