Enclosures. (e ) More than three birds, but not more than 20 birds, may be kept without a variance on one-family residentially zoned property in the city if the owner of the birds compl ies with the following restrictions: (1) The birds must be kept on a lot or tract of land under one ownership containing a minimum of 10,000 square feet; (2) The birds must be kept at least 100 feet from an adjacent residential s tructure; (3) The birds must be kept in a manner that does not create a nuisance; (4) No more than one male chicken may be kept on the property; and (5) If the owner has obtained a current Texas Pullorum-Typhoid Certificate issued by the Texas Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory, a maximum of 100 show birds may be kept pursuant to this subsection. Sec. 10-49. Breeding of animals. It shall be unlawful for the owner or harborer of any animal listed in this article to knowingly permit or cause to be permitted the breeding of any such animal within the public view. (Ord.
