I Invented A Waterproof Outdoor Chicken Feeder For My Chicken Tractor

very cool! do you have any photos of how you put it together?
No but it is easier than tinkertoys. Just get some 4 inch pvc pipe, the y like I have, and put it on upside down. Use a jig saw to cut away the bottom half of the feeder. Get a rubber reducer and put that in the y. I anchored mine in by drilling small holes in the y and poking wire through it and the reducer. I cemented what they call a test plug in the bottom and put a cap on the top of the pvc pipe. Later, which is not shown in the picture, I got another test plug and cut it moon shaped with tin snips and cemented it to the area where the feed comes out because they were scattering too much of it. Let me know if I can help some more or clarify something.
How much do you think you spent in materials? I really want to make something like this for my birds. Seems like I can never keep the water out of their feed when it rains
I spent about $20 or less at Lowes.
