Hello! We are a family of five who are just beginning our backyard chicken experience and we love it!!! Rachael, Kaiya, and Justin are the active members on this site and we are excited to find such a fantastic chicken community.  Rachael is a social work student, Kaiya is 8 years old, in the third grade and has visions of living on a ginormous farm, and Justin is an almost graduated nursing student. We also have 5 year old Canyon, 3 year old Felix, Molly the dog, Purrcee the cat, and Jewel the tarantula. Our hens are Cream (Rhode Island Red), Lucky (?) , Chubby Cheeks (Aracauna), Saffron (Aracauna), and India (Corallina Breuer).
