Meet Starburst The Cornish Banty

Starburst is one of my all time favorite chickens. Whether its because of her cute face and being a bantam, I'm not sure. What I do know is that she loves the camera and treats. Her breed is known as a Cornish Bantam and her color is White Laced Red.

I got Starburst when a family decided to stop keeping chickens and I'm so happy to have her in my flock. I hope you can enjoy her through pictures as much as I enjoy her in my flock.

Starburst is quite the popular chicken nowadays, she's even been highlighted on My Pet Chicken's Facebook page.

Nice, so very very nice! and congratulations on her!!!! I love to look at birds all day long, outside, in the house in magazines, on the net, in my dreams, is that why we have over 300 birds (not counting any babies) but I have reduced out of 7 flocks of turkey, 1 flock of our geese and 1 flock of our chicken, but love our poultry. And I take the title of being told I'm a bird brain as a great compliment!!!! I am an at risk person for wanting more breeds though sooo y'all be nice and please don't don't don't tempt me, did I say don't.... Our only bantam breed is the silkies and I must stop there. I know I'm going to be outta coopsand mostly outta my mind crazy for birds and all animals, but I can look and daydream can't I? Where are those smile faces? Well big smile and wave to Y'all all have a great Thanksgiving.
