Structures housing household pets in R-6, R-7, R-10, R‑12 or R-15 residential districts shall be subject to the guidelines provided in Article 18 (Accessory Structures).

Coop under 119sf and no higher then the height of the adjacent fence to which they are to be placed may be located up to the property line (needs to be at least 5 feet away from houses and other structures excluding the fence). Coop/ run may NOT be attached to a shared fence.

Larger coops (120sf or more) will need to comply with building permit requirements and be set back 3 feet from the property line.
