Additional Information | ARTICLE XII. PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE Sec. 22-495. Adoption of International Property Maintenance Code. The 2003 International Property Maintenance Code or the most recent edition is hereafter adopted as the property maintenance code of the city and shall be known as the City of Pharr Property Maintenance Code. (Ord. No. O-98-62, § 1, 10-20-98; Ord. No. O-2003-53, § 1, 11-4-03) Sec. 22-496. Amendments to code. Section 302-1-A, Fowl, shall read as follows: All domesticated fowl (roosters and chickens) must be kept in cages or pens. The enclosures must be maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary condition. The maximum number of allowed domesticated fowl in residential zoning districts is ten per premises. (Ord. No. O-98-62, § 2, 10-20-98; Ord. No. O-2003-53, § 2, 11-4-03) Sec. 22-497. Penalty for violation. Anyone who violates this article shall upon conviction thereof be fined in any amount not less than $1.00 nor more than $1,000.00.
