Hello All,

I just joined.  Today is a sad day.  We got 2 baby chics 4 months ago and fell in love with them.  Lucille and Betsy.  Betsy turned into Bob and today we had to find a new home for him.  We are residential and he was crowing from 2 am !!!!!!!! My question is how to introduce a new chick to Lucille. She will be upset with losing her rooster and lonely being alone.  Do I wait until she gets used to beng without her friend or get a chick right away for her?How do I get her to accept a new chick??
