Additional Information No residential zoning in Rankin County allow chickens. Only one zone specifies chickens are allowed; In A-2. Board of supervisors can grant permission but when I looked into getting a permit to build a coop I was told I could not have the permit, fowl are not allowed in Residential zones. This includes all of Rankin County, towns of Flowood and Brandon.
