Back door. Used for coop cleaning and added ventilation in the summer. The screen and board are easily removed with a few screws.

Roofing material is Ondura roofing panels.

Roosts and feeder I made. The feeder holds 300# of feed. Roost boards are 2x3's and yes they do use the little steps.

inside

Nesting boxes. There are hinged doors on the other side for egg collection.

Run with shade cloth. Run has since been enlarged.

Really nice coop. How many chickens do you have? Most of the coops I have seen are small and don't seem to give the chickens enough space. Yours is a good size. Also, Great location for a coop! Right in the garden. Do you have blueprints?
I am so excited to stumble upon this design. This idea of having the coop and garden (with the raised beds!) is EXACTLY what I want to do on our property. Having the pictures to show my hubby is such a help to get him to understand the "big idea". You did a lovely job on everything. May I ask how often you clean the shavings out of the coop? and how is the vinyl flooring working out? Thanks.
Great coop! I love the design!
