I had chickens all throughout my childhood. When I was a young adult I kept chickens in the country and in an urban environment. I had chickens when my child was growing up.  I have carried many a chicken under my arm. I recently just started keeping them again by tricking my partner into it. I live with a novice chicken keeper whom I am occasionally impatient with about the anxiety associated with chickens. Shame on me! My co-heart has become very fascinated and attached to the girls but worries all the time.

We have a Salmon Favorelle, a Spotted Sussex and three Ameracaunas. The first two are hilarious, docile and curious, the others are very reactive and smart.We live in Seattle with two indoor and well loved jealous cats, a garden and a very diverse neighborhood of chicken keepers.
