Rhode Island Breed Information, Comments, and Experience with breed: [Calphurnia] is a shy and quiet chicken but she becomes very aggressive when she feels that another chicken is in harms way. Although she is thin, she is a very heavy chicken. She is the best layer we have and she has laid 3 eggs in one day. The only odd thing about her is that she does not enjoy eating any kind of bugs besides worms. |
