My husband and I are buying a home in the whitfield estate area. It has a Sarasota address and zip code, but I am told it is really in Manatee county. As I really want backyard chickens will this be a problem. It is my understanding that Bradenton does not allow chickens. Any hints on if that might change.
Would love to find out more info too- we are looking at moving and currently we have about 100 chickens (we live in the country). Having 4 hens would be fine, but man, I have one quite little rooster I would hate to get rid of :-(
