Here is a pic of one of the first chickens i ever had. My grandpa was getting rid of his chickens and asked me if i wanted some, so i took some. she was reli tame you could hold your arm out and she would jump up on it. the same night we got her we also got 2 other hens and 1 roster. my mom thought the ro was too lough so we took him back. on the way back home from dropping the ro off the white chicken (in the pic above) escaped from our old dog kennel that has 8foot high sides and then ran across the road and under a pine tree in the neighbors yard (aprox. 500 feet away) luckly my mom saw her otherwise we would have no clue where she went.

Here is a pic of my lil chicks. They just happened to line up when i took it. Not sure of the breeds we just got some left over chickens from a mill close by. the tan one on the right side we called "lil guy" because he was the smallest. my sister thought it was a dumb name. turned out he reli was a guy! figured it out when he stared crowing.  lol
