The Cluck Club Part 2

Since my last page of the Cluck Club we have gotten several new members and a bigger coop. We now have several Americana/Araucanas ( some I hatched my self some I ordered from local grain store), one blue couchin (hatched by a friend), one phoenix (ordered from local grain store), one silver laced whyandotte (from the grain store), one gold laced whyandotte (I hatched my self), One white leghorn (ordered from grain store), one red commet (from grain store), two black australorps (one I hatched my self the other I adopted from a friend), one gold penciled hamburg (adopted from a friend), one lakenvelder (ordered from grain store) and the original memebrs, three barredrocks, one araucana/americana, one speckled sussex, one welsummer and one cuckoo maran. I have two roos as well. One Americana/Araucana (hatched my self) and one GIANT cochin (hatched by my friend). I have also added two beautiful pekin ducks (adopted from my nephew's daycare) to the mix and call them the quack pack. Some of their favorite snacks are corn on the cob, squash, yogurt, bugs and grass. They LOVE being outside running in the yard and woods. On days that I am not around to watch them, they play in their ouside pen. We are now working on building our sap house so we can boil our own fresh maple syrup! Our chicken, duck and maple syrup "farm" brings me so much joy! I love watching my kids and husband working together and having fun! So that's my story. I hope you enjoy my pics!

What breed it the hen in front of the red wagon? Love the coloring and lacing.
Oh my gosh they are fabulous!! I have 5 white leghorns And 3 Rhode Island Reds, 1 of them is a rooster! ( they are now 3 ) All of them are tame ( including the rooster, in fact he is the tamest ) But the only chicken in a our bunch who has anywhere near as colourful as feathers as yours would be our rooster! Speaking of which I need help, he has liver disease if anybody knows anything about it plz post a reply on my Post
Sooo sorry it took so long for me to reply! We have been VERY busy building our sap house and I haven't logged on in a while! I MISSED MY PIC ON POW! :( Ok to answer som questions, 12th pic down the one with the 2 white chicks? they are araucanas. The one in front of the red wagon is a phoenix, they have very long tail feathers. A lot of the chicks I have I ordered from my local grain/feed store. Early spring they do just one rare breed order. They order their chicks from Murrary McMuarry Hatchary. Some of my chicks I hatched my self but had a very high roo rate. I bought the eggs from an ad on craigslist. I hatched Black Australorps, Araucana/Americanas and Golden Laced Wyandottes. I am so glad you all like my pics! I am very proud of my chicken children!
