There were only three of his siblings and him left to be sold. Unfortunately, they were all pullets, and the new owner decided that at their age, he looked to much like a soon to be rooster. Now he stays with 5, six month old "teenagers" and 10, three month old Speckled Sussex chicks. Even though he is let loose with a bunch of the "bigger kids" he has learned to be smarter than them. Whenever I walk in to feed them all, he'll fly out of no where and perch on my shoulder as I fill the water tanks and grain buckets and talk to me like I'm his only friend. His name is Cocoamo.
Cocoamo is half Black Australorp, and either half Brahma, half Silver Laced Wyandotte, or half Easter Egger. I'm planning on keeping him because he has the biggest character, unless he grows up mean, but his father is one of the nicest roosters I've seen.
I don't know which chick is him, but those are his siblings. I plan to make updates on him if anyone is interested in his future chinanigans
