Welsummers are a turn of the century dutch breed from the Welsum area in The Netherlands. Beautiful black /red roosters weight 8 lbs and the graceful hens weight 6 lbs. Welsummers are fast growing and are somewhat rare in the US but are growing in popularity. Wonderful breed for the backyard flock.
