Welcome!

 I have a little urban homestead in progress in NE Illinois (Will County) which currently includes five bantams (four Dutch and an Easter Egger)  living safely and comfortably under my back porch, which is fenced in with hardware cloth to keep out the urban wildlife.

Keeping chickens, ducks and quail has been incredibly satisfying and even though it is currently forbidden in my town, I believe it takes a few brave souls to break new ground before an idea can take hold  in any community.
