Goulash

Ingredients: 1 lb. ground beef 1 small onion (chopped) 1 can diced tomatoes 1 large can Veg-All (drained) salt & pepper to taste chili powder to taste dash of garlic powder (optional) 1 small potato (chopped sm. to med. size) 3/4 c. elbow macaroni Cooking Instructions Brown ground beef and onion in large sauce pan. Add one cup of water, tomatoes, veg-all, potatoes, macaroni and spices. Cook until most of liquid is gone. read more

Broccoli Cornbread

Ingredients: 1 pkg. Jiffy Mix 1 (10-oz.) pkg. frozen (thawed) broccoli, chopped 1 tsp. sugar 4 eggs 1 stick margarine, melted 1 sm. onion, chopped 1 cup sour cream 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. oil Cooking Instructions Preheat oven to 400°. Add oil to skillet and place in oven to be getting hot while mixing ingredients. Mix all ingredients, pour into HOT skillet. Bake at 400° approximately 25-30 minutes. Top will be brown and center will be set when ready. read more

Zucchini Bread

Ingredients: 2 c. grated zucchini 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. rum or almond extract (or both) 3 eggs 2 c. sugar 1 c. vegetable oil 3 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 tsp. allspice 1/4 c. peach brandy 1 pkg. cinnamon chips, divided Cooking Instructions Heat oven to 350°. Tart and Chunky Applesauce

Ingredients: 8 granny smith apples 1 cup of sugar 2 slices of lemon Cinnamon Cooking Instructions Peel and cut apples into 8ths, seed. Put in a dutch oven sized pot Pour in sugar Fill with water until you just see it Cover the top of the apples with cinnamon Boil. Use a potato masher every 15 minutes to reduce and crush the apples. 5 Minute Chocolate mug Cake

Ingredients: 4 tbsp flour 4 tbsp sugar 2 tbsp cocoa 3 tbsp milk 3 tbsp oil 1 egg 3 tbsp chocolate chips (optional) splash vanilla extract 1 large coffee mug Cooking Instructions Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again. 10 Egg Pound Cake

Ingredients: 3 c. sugar 2 c. Crisco shortening 10 eggs 3 c. flour, sifted 2 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. salt 1/4 c. Pet condensed milk* 1 tsp. rum flavoring 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring Cooking Instructions Cream Crisco and sugar together well, then add eggs, beating very well after each. Super Easy Crock Pot Apple Butter

Ingredients: 5 lbs. apples 3 c. granulated sugar 2 tbsp apple pie spice 2 tbsp cinnamon Cooking Instructions Peel the apples and chop them up pretty small. Toss them all into the crock pot and put it on high. Pour sugar and spices in on top of apples and stir to mix. You won't have to do anything else for hours except enjoy the great smell! Ingredients: 1 refrigerated pie crust (double crust) 1/3 c. butter 1/3 c. chopped onion 1/3 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 (14-oz.) can chicken broth 1/2 c. milk 2 1/2 c. cooked chicken or turkey (cubed) 2 c. frozen veggies Cooking Instructions Place pie crust in 9" pie pan. Chicken Tetrazzini

Ingredients: 6 tbsp butter 1 onion 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. ground pepper 4 tsp. chicken bullion 1/4 c. flour 2 cup milk 2 cups cooked and cubed chicken 1 lb. linguini pasta Cooking Instructions Melt butter in saute pan. Saute onion with salt until tender. Add all ingredients, EXCEPT PASTA, to the pan. Bring to a boil. Turn down heat and simmer for 10 minutes or until thickened.
