Easy and Delicous Onion Roast Chicken w/Veggies

This is an EASY and DELICIOUS savery chicken and veggie receipe.  Delicious enough for having friends over for a semi casual or casual supper, and it scents the house deliciously.  Cook it on 300 for 1 hour and 15+ minutes to have ready right after church, if its close, instead of 400 for 30-40 minutes. (cook chicken to internal temp of 165 f) The glaze just melts into the chicken and veggies.  This is the only way my kids will eat sweet potatoes.  I highly recomend this receipe, for when you've got things to do, but you want to serve a hot fresh dinner to your... read more

feed-recipe

Beak House Breeder Feed This is a variant of the recipe I use for feeding my breeding flocks. I augment it with fig nuggets, pumpkin seeds, dried cranberries, raisins, currants, and various seeds or nuts that are appropriate and affordable. I use cinnamon, turmeric, cayenne (or crushed red pepper), and dehydrated vegetables when affordable. I take many of the items to the mill with me, but our mill (Perry Milling Company) has most of these items and is fabulous! I can fax my order in and they'll have the goods for a ton pulled and ready to go before I get there- then... read more
