Momma'S Sugar Cookies

Ingredients: 3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour 1/4 tsp. kosher or fine salt 1 tsp. baking powder 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract 1 1/2 c. granulated white sugar 1 c. unsalted butter, softened 2 eggs Cooking Instructions Directions: Whisk together flour, salt, and baking powder, set aside. In another bowl with a hand mixer, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 3 to 4 minutes). Add the eggs one at a time, and then vanilla extract until combined. Mom'S Sugar Cookies

Ingredients: 1 c. butter or margarine 1 c. oil 2 c. granulated sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 2 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. cream of tartar 1 tsp. almond flavoring (optional) 5 c. flour Cooking Instructions Cream butter, oil, sugar, and eggs. Add salt, vanilla, baking soda, and cream of tartar. Mix well. Slowly add flour. Roll into balls and lightly smash down tops with a fork dipped in sugar to make a square pattern on top of cookie. Molasses Cookies

Ingredients: 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 c. shortening 1 tsp. cloves 1 egg 1/2 tsp. ginger 4 tbsp light molasses 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. baking soda 2 c. flour Cooking Instructions Preheat oven to 350°. Cream sugar and shortening. Add egg and molasses, blend well. Add sifted dry ingredients and mix well. Roll dough into 1 to 1-1/2 inch balls and flatten on cookie sheet with the bottom of a flat glass dipped in sugar. Bake 10-12 minutes. read more

Microwave Carmel Popcorn

Ingredients: 1/4 c. melted butter 1/8 c. corn syrup 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. vanilla 10-12 c. popped popcorn Cooking Instructions In a microwave safe glass bowl or measuring cup (I use Pyrex 2 cup measuring cup), stir together melted butter, corn syrup and brown sugar. Microwave on high for 30-40 seconds depending on how powerful you microwave is. Stir. Microwave for 30-40 more seconds. Watch constantly, because there is a chance it will boil over. Lace Cookies

Ingredients: 1 c. quick-cooking oatmeal 3 tbsp flour 1/4 tsp. baking powder 2 c. sugar 2 eggs 1 c. real butter 1 c. finely chopped pecans 1 tsp. each of vanilla, almond and lemon flavorings Cooking Instructions Preheat oven to 350°. Melt butter and place in mixing bowl with sugar, mix to combine. Add eggs and flavorings, mix to combine. Add oatmeal, flour, baking powder and pecan, mix to combine. Ingredients: 1/2 c. butter 1/4 c. butter flavored shortening 1 c. sugar 2 eggs 1 tbsp vanilla 2 1/2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt Cooking Instructions 1. In your mixer cream butter, shortening, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. 2. In a second bowl sift together flour, baking soda, and salt. 3. Grandma'S Crunchy Cookies

Ingredients: 1 c. sugar 1 c. brown sugar 2 eggs 1 c. butter or margarine 1 c. butter or margarine 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 2 c. flour 2 c. oatmeal 2 c. rice crispies 1 c. coconut 1 tsp. vanilla Cooking Instructions Cream both sugars and butter together. Grandma Flo'S Super Easy Rocky Road

Ingredients: 1(11-oz.) pkg. chocolate chips (semi sweet or milk) 1(10-oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips 3/4 pkg. mini marshmallows 1 1/2 c. peanut butter (smooth or chunky) nuts (optional) Cooking Instructions In large, microwave safe mixing bowl, pour in both bags of chips, and peanut butter. Microwave on medium heat in 30 second increments, stirring each time, until chips and peanut butter mix smoothly. Add marshmallows, and nuts if desired. Ingredients: 4 c. sifted flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 1/2 c. softened butter 1 c. sugar 1 (3-oz.) pkg.
