Oatmeal Chocolate Bars

Ingredients: 1/2 c. butter, softened 1 c. brown sugar 1 egg, unbeaten 1 1/4 c. flour 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 1 1/2 c. oatmeal 1 (14-oz.) can sweetened, condensed milk 1 6 oz. bag chocolate chips 2 tbsp butter 1 tbsp vanilla Cooking Instructions Mix together butter, brown sugar, egg, flour, soda, salt, and oatmeal. Pat HALF of this mixture in a 9 x 13 pan. Melt remaining ingredients and stir well. (We melt them in a bowl in the microwave.) Pour over crust. Sprinkle with remaining oatmeal mixture. No-Bake Cheesecake

Ingredients: 1 (8-oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1/3 c. sugar 1 c. sour cream 2 tsp. vanilla 1 (8-oz.) ctn. Cool Whip 1 graham cracker pie crust fresh fruit for garnish Cooking Instructions Beat cheese until smooth, gradually beat in sugar. Blend in sour cream and vanilla. Fold in whipped topping, blend well. Spoon into crust. Chill until set, at least 4 hours. read more

Mud Pudding Cake

Ingredients: 1-1/4 c. sugar (divided) 1 c. flour 7 tbsp cocoa powder (divided) 2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. milk 1/3 c. melted butter 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. brown sugar 11/4 c. hot water Cooking Instructions Preheat oven to 350°. In a large mixing bowl combine 3/4 cup of the sugar, 3 tbsp of the cocoa, flour, baking powder, salt, milk, vanilla, and melted butter. Ingredients: 1 stick butter 1 c. flour 1 c. chopped nuts, (walnuts, pecans or almonds) 1 (8-oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1 c. powdered sugar 3 c. milk 2 (3-oz.) boxes instant chocolate pudding 1 (9-oz.) container Cool Whip Cooking Instructions Cut butter into flour and stir in nuts. Moist Lemon Lover'S Pound Cake

Ingredients: 1 c. unsalted butter 3 c. granulated sugar 5 tbsp lemon juice 1 tbsp grated lemon peel 1 tsp. lemon extract 6 eggs 3 c. self-rising flour 1-1/4 c. plain yogurt Icing/Glaze: 2 tbsp butter 2-1/2 c. confectioner's sugar 3 tbsp lemon juice 2 tsp. grated lemon peel 1/4 c. plain yogurt or sour cream Cooking Instructions In large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, maybe 5 minutes. Maw'S Pecan Pie

Ingredients: 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. Karo syrup 3 tbsp melted butter 1 tsp. vanilla 3 eggs, well beaten 1 c. chopped pecans 1 unbaked pie shell Cooking Instructions Mix syrup and sugar with melted butter. Mamaw'S Chocolate Pie

Ingredients: 6 tbsp cocoa 1 1/4 c. sugar 2 c. milk dash salt 1 egg, beaten 3 tbsp corn starch 1 tsp. vanilla 1 pie crust, baked Cooking Instructions Mix all ingredients in a heavy boiler, cook over medium heat until thick, stirring constantly. Pour into baked pie crust and let cool. Top with meringue and serve. read more

Lemon Chess Pie

Ingredients: 1 sticks butter, softened 1 1/2 c. sugar 3 eggs 2 tbsp cornmeal 1 tbsp flour 3 tbsp lemon juice 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1 9" pastry shell, unbaked Cooking Instructions Cream butter and sugar. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake 10 minutes at 400° F. and then 30 minutes at 300° F. Homemade Ice Cream

Ingredients: 4-6 eggs 1 c. heavy whipping cream 1/2 c. sugar 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla (12-oz.) can evaporated milk 1-2 qt. milk or half & half (3-oz.) boxes instant vanilla pudding Cooking Instructions Mix all together, except the milk, and pour into ice cream freezer. Grandma Sadie'S Creamy Cheesecake

Ingredients: 24 oz mascarpone cheese 1 tbsp vanilla 1 egg 1 graham cracker crust 1 c. sugar Cooking Instructions 1. Preheat oven to 350°. 2. In the bowl of your mixer add egg, sugar, and vanilla, beat on medium for a minute, then add the mascarpone a spoonful at a time. Do not rush this step; you need to mix smoothly for a creamy texture.
