South Florida Hen House

  So myself, my wife Emily, and two daughters, 2.5yo Lillian, and 7mths Minna Lani. We live in St Petersburg, FL, on the water, where we never have to suffer the woes of a bitter cold winter. I built a 300sqft Aviary around our coop, to allow our chickens some running room, when they cant free range the yard, due to get togethers, or our to dogs are utilizing the yard (They want to eat the hens, erg.) Describe 'Angelboots mini farm' here Was raised on a farm but am starting my 1st min farm, AM building a "Classy A-Frame Chicken Tractor., thanks to you website & a great set of plans. So far so good. will love having fresh eggs and later a few fryers. Hope to begin to raise som for replacement both, layers & fryers. Little Birch Farm's Chickens & Ducks

Little Birch Farm is growing! We now have 6 ducks – 3 Blue Swedish and 3 Black Indian Runner Ducks, along with 32 chickens in the flock. Our original flock of 5 Bantams – a Seabrite, a Chinese Fantail, 2 Cochins & a Brahma have been joined by 3 Black Austerlorps, and our newest Heritage breeds – 5 Gold-Laced Wyandottes, 4 Danish Brown Leghorns, 4 Mottled Anconas, 5 New Hampshire Reds and 4 Ameraucanas.
