Frizzles are one of the most popular and desirable bantam
chickens. Their "backwards" feathers are give them a striking
appearance - they look like they backed up into a hair
dryer! Docile and sweet, they make good pets, too.
Apparently, frizzles are the result of a mutant gene,
and can come from most any breed. You can create your
own frizzle "variety" by breeding a straight-feathered
breed with a frizzle chicken!
