I had 2 six week old ducks. One with a broken leg died. It's very sad and will the other six week duckling be ok with out his friend?

Sorry you lost the one duckling. The other will be fine but if you have been handling them a lot you might want to give him a little more attention.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is to lose them.

I agree with the other post your little duck is going to need alot of attention. It will survive but is there anyway you can get another duck?

I think it will be okay because I have one other duck besides him but he's 15 months. The one without his friend is 6 weeks but most of the time they get along fine. Sometimes the older one pecks at the littler one

I would not let them be together unsupervised, but once they are the same size they should be okay.

yes, and during the day we check on them a lot. At night we put them in a cage. (Not the same cage yet)

Glad to hear you aren't doing this alone. Just know we're all here because we love ducks, geese, chickens, etc. and we want to help. Please do follow their advice since they have years & years of knowledge.
