My chicks Larry and Bigboy, if you know them from recent threads, are always friendly to each other but then one second later they are flapping their wings at each other, stretching their necks, and pecking each other (not a hard peck). After that, they run all around like they never even done it and they're friends again. Are they play fighting or for real fighting?

Play fighting that will eventually result in one being dominate over the other. Normal behavior and harmless-for now. Many roosters raised together get along even after maturity, but one will win the game for dominance.

So if one does win, will one of the chicks kill the other when they're older?
