ahhh I did not see that. They could always be a mix breed which in my experience are even better layersThey do all have black in their tails. Nit sure how obvious that is here.
Agreed.They look like hatchery quality Hampshire Red hens to me. RIR do have black tail feathers, but are a much darker red on their body. Both breeds lay really well.
