DAY 21: Chick has piped and I left to the store, came back and had yellowish bubbles coming from hole in egg. I immediately assumed it had swallowed liquid from its egg and carefully made hole a bit larger, made sure it's nose was free. Took a dry paper towel and blotted some liquid away. I accidentally disturbed a vein and it bled but stopped.

WHAT CAN I DO? I feel helpless, I read where someone suggested taking the shell off but keeping membrane in tact and wrapping in wet cloth, but I have always been told not to because they have to absorb the blood and they could bleed out.

PLEASE HELP!
