I'm in southern oregon, everything is brown dry and dead

I supplement with sea kelp and ground flax but miss the dark orange yolks that the missing greens provide. Until rains, and green lands return, are there any supplemental things I can add to the girls feed to darken the yolk? I have 30 birds, so buying dark greens isn't reasonable. I've thought of fodder. Any other ideas?

Is there a xanthophyll additive I can put in their feed? made for poultry?

Anyone? I've read marigold/calendula is good but again, back to the drought...it wouldn't be reasonable to start new flowers right now. And the reviews are iffy on Amazon
