So im getting a batch of ducks soon and I still have a 22% chick mash left over can I feed the new ducklings this untill it runs out then switch to flock raiser. Or should I just buy more chicks to finish off the chick mash because you know chicken math

What brand do you have? My guess is that that would be fine, as long as you supplement with some Brewer's Yeast to get the ducklings enough niacin.

Its star milling 22% chick mash
I compared feed tages to the flock raiser crumble and it has alot of the same percents
On the tag. As fare as nutrition
I was just more wondering about feeding mash because people say crumble is better for ducks

Ducks drink water when they eat, a mash might end up in the bottom of your waterer, that why crumble than pellets are better, you might have a lot of waste.

Thats a good point the mash well be gone before they go outside to the big waterers
So im not too concerned about waste because I well have to throw out the mash in a few months anyways. So I well use up the old mash first then switch to crumble when the mash is gone
