poo covered feathers!!

My chickens have poo all over their butt feathers. (I'm so immature and laughing at the moment

) They have very bad diarrhea so i gave them yogurt. What else should I do?

My chickens are sometimes dirty, but if it is more then a bit here and there, then it may be a problem.

Loose droppings can be caused by wet foods, hot weather (drinking more), bacterial and viral infections (usually coupled with other symptoms like wheezing, lethargy, appetite loss, lowered egg production). They could also have internal parasites.

If it continues for more then a day, then I would try treating for parasites.

thanks for the help! sadly two of them passed away but the worm medicine is coming in the mail today so i will give it to my other chickens. the other one that was sick seems to be doing much better.
