Wing Clips

Hello everyone!

So I bought some baby chicks from Atwoods, and they came with wing clips that are puncturing their wings. I would like to take these out, but don't really know when or how. Any advice?

Bend the clip back at the top. The clip should open and just remove out of the wing. Kinda like taking your earrings out.

I have some wing clips around, just for historical use/reference. I did not know folks were still using them, I don't know of anyone in my area employing any more. As noted just unhook them so to speak, sharp side cuters/dykes might work if you can't undo them.
