When we introduced her to the flock we couldn't tell if our roo was trying to kill her or mate.

Silkies are tricky and just me ... but I am going to go against the grain on this one and lean towards Cockerel ... please let us know when you know for sure

I agree with Teila, it would be great if you could get a straight on head shot, so we can see the comb. How old is the bird?

Okay, so the update is it's a GIRL!! That or our Roo is confused. Lol
He chased and danced, she did the squat and then the 'after shake' . so i am going with girl.
