Hey all, introducing myself here. I live in central AZ and just finished building my coop. I posted it here.....https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/1102745/just-finished-my-coop
Since the pictures I have changed the roosting area to the opposite wall of the egg/nesting boxes. I also put a shower curtain under the roosting bars to catch some droppings. We will see how it all works out. We are getting 4 birds from a friend and bought another 4 from a neighbor. Waiting for them to arrive. My intentions are to put 2 inches of sand on the run underneath the coop. I have large flake pine shavings in side the coop and the nesting boxes. Hope it all works out.
