killing cone for BBB turkeys

wondering where to get a good cone for BBB toms? I have heard some are better than others for chickens. Not sure my traffic cone would hold a tom turkey. I have a while they are 8 weeks old.

I looked at stainless cones and decided to buy a truck instead.

Talking to a sheet metal shop down the road from us, galvanized is just fine (keep it clean). When I asked the price, the guy just laughed and asked me to bring them a six pack and dimensions of what it needed to be. The labor cost is almost double of the materials, and he estimated about 10 minutes to cut and form it.

Ask around, or just buy one off the internet.

2 years ago we raised BBWs. My husband and I used a large gunny sack. We cut the corner off and slipped that over their head. Their head poked through the cut corner. We then raised them up in the air using a lift. The gunny sack kept them from thrashing about. It was cheap and not messy at all. Good luck in whatever you choose!
