Sneaky birds

I let my little chickies play outside during the day, and everyday I fill their little food container till it's almost full. When I kept them in the brooder the whole day(few day ago) I filled up their food every 5 days. Now they eat so quick, so one day I decided to watch them. And I saw 3 other birdies eating along with them. lol.

I think you are referring to wild birds partaking of the buffet. Sometimes you need to feed inside the coop to prevent this. They can also spread disease, mites, etc. to your birds.

The wild birds certainly like to get their share as well! Also, I find that the girls waste a lot of food too, by scratching it up all over the place!
