Wheatens make it easy with the distinct coloring difference between the males and females. With that much black on both of them, they can only be males. Females are more of a cream color.

Those are Ameraucana chicks not sure where the Wheaton came into the conversation??
Might be EEs? Note the slate coloured legs.
How they act towards each other will be a sure sign they are roosters at the age they are!

Wheaten is the color. Ameraucana is the breed. Wheaten is a coloring that looks very different for males and females. It doesn't matter the breed. Any bird with wheaten coloring can be sexed by feather color.
And those are pure Ameraucana, not Easter Eggers.
