My new run is up!

So excited my chicken run is up. The girls are loving it. Just a question for you all. Do you bring your birds in the coop at night or give them a choice to stay out if they want. I ask because mine are all at the coop door wanting to come out and I just put them in for the night.

Is it already getting dark there? They will be excited about their new run, but it's probably safer to get locked in for the night. Once they are used to the setup they will probably go in at dusk all by themselves...It might take a couple days.

Don't worry about putting them in at night, they will go in when it's time.
Mine go in on their own and I shut the door to lock them up for the night.
However I did have one young one that I had to let fly up on my arm and be put on the roost at night (she was spoiled).
But that didn't last long, now she goes in with the big girls, they grow up so fast, just like kids!
