Reintroducing a baby chic

i just recently had three new additions to my coop with one egg left in the nest. I left it to see if it would hatch. When I went out today the egg was gone and I found it by the door with the baby halfway out of the egg but not moving much so I brought it in the house and proceeded to help it finish hatching. My question is can I bring it back out to the mother and will she take care of her like the others?

I think it would probably be best to brood it separate. If the hen is no longer setting on the nest I doubt she will accept the chick. However I am pretty new to chickens. Hopefully someone with more experience will chime in.
